DEPARTURE FROM BOLIVIA

 

Where did the time go? Probably in more than a few shovel-fulls, bricks, concrete mixing, laughter and tears. The time to go home is here. Early.

 

EWB - Michigan Tech/Santa Cruz poses for one more shot at the Santa Cruz airport very early this morning. A few hours of sleep for most of us, we won't mind sleeping on the plane this time. This team, a real partnership of Bolivians and Americans, accomplished much, on and off the project site. While the septic system was completed, it may be the friendships that have more impact.

We made it to Chicago (note additional clothes). Next up, the 9 hour van drive to Houghton.

 

 

 

The team returned to Houghton around 7 am the next morning. A little weather and culture shocked, but too content to bother with it.
