Donate Time and Energy
We are always looking for new members to work on all aspects of projects: fund-raising, design, communication, public relations, documenting, etc. And just because the name of the organization is Engineers Without Borders, it is perfectly fine for non-engineers to be involved. It’s better that way. Talk to a current member. Show up to our next meeting. Just volunteer. It feels good, we promise.
Donate Resources
Donations of materials can often be put to use in some of our projects. We’ve heard from companies that make solar panels, construction firms with lumber. We have even worked with a local pizza place to create a fund-raiser out of their donations. Talk to us, and we will figure out some way everybody can win.
Donate Money
Ah, yes. Fortunately, a little goes a long way here. Plus, we have no overhead costs, so it goes even further. The easiest way to make a monetary donation is through the Michigan Tech Fund’s online form (they gladly take credit cards). On the form make sure to enter “Special Designation” in the field titled “Where should your gift go?” and enter “Engineers Without Borders” in the “Specific Comment/Designation” field so the money gets directed to us.
